My name is Matei-Martin Popescu, also known as “Sagu.” I am an East-European metal artist, jeweler, and sculptor based in Sweden.
My art focuses on versatility, precision, functionality, and interactivity. I adapted my style this way thanks to a mixed background across both arts and crafts, bringing innovation to every piece I create.
I am focused on exploring new techniques, styles, materials, and textures, alongside a range of organic and complex themes. My sculptures carry a unique balance between spirituality and the sublime elegance of nature’s creations.
